Embodied coaching and learning for leaders, change-makers and groups seeking to find grounding, connection, and alignment under the pressure of this time.
Ways to Work With Me
1:1 Somatic Coaching
Somatic coaching supports a deeper connection to your body (the whole of your experience!), and can support shifts in the way that stuck protective responses are held in our nervous systems. This work with individuals longing to grow and change, frees up more space for our life force to come through, allowing us to move through the world with greater presence, resilience, agency and a sense of being more alive!
Facilitation/Consulting
My work with groups and organizations brings the lens of embodiment to leadership development and capacity-building. Weaving together nervous-system education, embodied practice, experiential learning, and relational awareness - this group work supports people in learning to embody their values, more of the time, even under pressure.
Embodied Antiracism
This work with groups of white people committed to collective liberation helps people bring our racial justice commitments from our heads to our hearts and bodies. Unlike more academic or strategy-based workshops and trainings, this work cultivates the relational and embodied conditions that make real accountability and transformation possible.
My Programs
Each season I offer several cohort-based learning experiences, as well as one-off public workshops. Scroll down to subscribe to my newsletter and stay looped in about upcoming opportunities.
Why embodied?
… embodied antiracism
Just as racism has shaped our thoughts and biases, it has profoundly shaped our patterns of relating and responding to the life around us, too. Collective harms require collective healing, so we can’t do it alone - and we have to bring our bodies along, too. Embodied antiracist practice helps us to root in a sense of belonging and practices that can hold us in the messiness of the work, and supports us to move from our values more of the time.
… embodied leadership
Leadership is not just about what we know —it is also about our capacity to show up how we mean to, even under pressure and for the long-haul. Embodied leadership builds the capacity for presence, resilience, connection, and courageous action, especially in these times of profound uncertainty and change.
… embodied healing
Many of us are tired of talking and thinking in circles around our most persistent patterns and habits. Just as our wise bodies developed many of these patterns to keep us safe in early life, our bodies will need embodied experiences of safety, connection, and agency to find their way to new patterns. Embodied healing offers practices for tending to the impacts of stress and trauma while reconnecting us with the wisdom, vitality, and wholeness of our bodies.
