Embodied Practice for Building Collective Resilience Series

Fridays May 16, 23, 30 from 2:00-4:30pm @ New City Center in Minneapolis

Exploring themes of: Agency / Powerlessness, Connection / Isolation, Grounding / Chaos

Amidst political chaos and crisis, accelerating climate collapse, and ongoing violence and injustice against marginalized communities, bodies tend to contract, numb and isolate. We can find ourselves feeling powerless, disconnected, and overwhelmed - struggling to live out our values and move with intention.

To support us in these times, we will practice tuning into the wisdom of our bodies to find a greater sense of grounding, connection, agency and resilience. As we tend to our nervous systems in community, we expand our capacity to act from more solid ground.

Informed by our training in Somatic Experiencing and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, this therapeutic workshop series utilizes embodied practices, movement explorations, somatic skill-building and group reflection. Hosted with Craniosacral Therapist Alex Kewitt.

Cost: Sliding scale of $150 - $250 for 3-session series (offered as a whole)

If the cost of this offering is prohibitive, please do reach out to us to inquire about scholarships!
